Eye Dots – Can They Go Away?

different pigments in eye

I get asked often by people who have "dots" or different pigments in their eyes if they will go away after intense cleansing and detoxifying.

Sometimes they have been told these spots are "drug deposits" or, if the color is orange, they have been told that it's sulfur in their eyes and it should go away after thoroughly cleansing the body.

Here's what the most current research says however: iris pigments do not go away and cannot be removed.

Those are not drug deposits in your eyes, nor are they any specific chemicals. Rather, all pigments in the eye are made from melanin, and autopsies of the iris confirm this.

Every pigment and color in your eye is related to an organ being affected, not a drug or chemical.

Reasons you may have pigments and dots in your eyes?

  • they may be genetic and what we call trans-generational. You may have family that have struggled with heart issues and therefore you were born with a pigment in the heart area of the iris.
  • they can pop up in response to an injury or trauma
  • they can indicate toxicity in the tissues of the area they are in (epigenetic)

Sometimes colors in the iris are constitutional (you were born with them), and sometimes they are acquired by your life choices.

Yes, they can indicate tissue toxicity but NOT always, and they do not consist of any specific chemical, rather they are made up of melanin.

Regardless, once they appear they are there to stay as a reminder forever to pay attention to and nurture that area of the body they are in.
