The Story My Eyes Tell

My Eye Color

This is my iris. I have had people ask to see my eye, so I thought I would put it up.

My irises appears brown to the naked eye, although when the light hits them just right, they can look hazel and greenish.

I have a mixed eye color. My mom's eyes are a true brown and there is blue on my dads side. I inherited a mix of that.

As all irises do, my eyes describe me perfectly and tell stories of my life choices, my personality, and my genetics.

The abundant amount of orange coloring speaks of the diabetes and pancreatic weakness that run in my family. My diet and the way I eat is mindful of this.

The nerve rings confirm that yes, I have the bad habit of creating stress for myself by not only trying to do all the things, but attempting to be the best at them as well. I have very high expectations for myself that I often cannot meet. The rings run through the muscular zone of my back and spine, and when I get stressed I get knots right under my shoulders in my back. Minerals are *critical* for me to avoid cramps and lessen stress.

I have a very thin collarette, indicating a sensitive nervous system. I love/hate this about myself. I am sensitive to the energies of other people, which allows me to be empathic, but also allows me to be affected in such a way that causes me to shut them out if I sense the energy is bad.

My iris fibers are overall fairly tight. This indicates strong connective tissue within the body with less chances of prolapses, hernias, or wrinkly skin. My mother has even tighter fibers than me and looks 20 years younger than she is.

There are some brown spots in my eyes, telling me my liver is one of my main nurture points. This is true. My digestion has always been sluggish and I give my liver extra love because of this.

At 12:00 I have a deep groove going right through my pituitary gland. This small gland is the "boss" of all my other endocrine glands. This can help me with root cause if I ever find myself struggling with adrenal, thyroid, ovary...etc issues. I will know to support this little guy and to also maintain good lymphatic drainage of the head, so he always receives a healthy supply of blood and lymph.

Individuals with a lot of different spots of color in their eyes, like you see in mine, tend to be thinking-oriented, analytical people. We like to read, watch, and observe.

We excel at leading and telling other people what to do (can someone please tell my brother that it's literally in my genetics to be bossy? I can't help it! ) and value freedom. Don't attempt to control us, as we often rebel against structure (unless of course we created it ourselves).

Every color. Every line in your iris matters and is on purpose. What a masterpiece.
